As used in this Privacy Policy, "YourTradebase", "us" and "we" refers to YourTradebase, which is a trading name of Forty Two Ltd.

Our data protection officer is Adam Austin.

We only collect the data that you provide to us, or that's gathered from your use of our service (via cookies).

We use your information to provide our service, for administrative and business purposes, to improve our business, products and website, to fulfil our contractual obligations, to advertise our goods and services, to analyse your use of our website, and in connection with our legal rights and obligations.

We never sell information to any third parties.

Your use of YourTradebase signifies your consent to us collecting and using personal information about you as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Should we choose to change our Privacy Policy for any reason, the changes will be posted here, so that you are always kept informed of how we collect and use your personal information.

We only keep and process the data you either share with us directly, or that is provided by the tools we use to monitor our service. This includes your name, email address, and any business information you enter.

We make sure that all the information we hold on you is as safe as possible. In addition, we have strict security procedures covering the storage and disclosure of your information in order to prevent unauthorised access and to comply with the UK Data Protection Act 1998.

This means that sometimes we may ask you for proof of identity before disclosing any personal information to you.

We also ensure that access to YourTradebase data is restricted, and all data is encrypted with the latest security measures.

We're registered with the Data Protection Act 1998 (Our registration number is ZA024139) and have an assigned data protection officer, who can be reached at privacy@yourtradebase.com.

What we do with your data

We use the information you enter to fulfil our service offering to you. This may include using third party services to enhance our offering. For example, we use a chat tool to offer you best-in-class customer support, and we share your name and email address with that service so that we're able to identify you as a customer.

Where we work with third party services, we always ensure their privacy policies are robust and designed to keep your data dafe and secure.

We may contact you from time to time to let you know about our services, which may include sending you newsletters and news on events that you may be interested in. You can elect not to receive such marketing material at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in all our emails and newsletters.

What we don't do with your data

We never share your information with any third parties for marketing purposes not directly related to YourTradebase.

We don't store your full credit card details within YourTradebase.

We don't store your data after you cancel your service with us, and we don't keep backups of your data for more than 60 days.

What data we collect when you use our software and services

We collect the following data from you: name, contact details, basic payment information (e.g. your credit/debit card details and billing address), IP address, information from cookies, information about your computer or device (e.g. device and browser type), information about how you use our website (e.g. which pages you have viewed, the time when you view them and what you clicked on), the geographical location from which you accessed our website (based on your IP address), company name and VAT number (if applicable).

How long we retain your data for

Data is kept for as long as you remain a user of our service, in order for us to provide you with that service. If you choose to cancel your account, all data (including backups) is permanently deleted within 30 days.
